After having graduated the Purdue University Aviation program, Rob Friedl proceeded to travel the world over while working in every industry from wildland firefighting to commercial fishing to wind and contract manufacturing. He then started Emergent Training Solutions in a mission to help other companies build and maintain high quality operations. What started out as a project to create a handbook for river barge deckhands has now grown into a practice of designing and building entire training systems.
